Paso a Paso Network

The certification of 18 staff from member organizations as Medicaid enrollers, helping families access community services and public assistance programs.

Sixteen community members, representing both Paso a Paso member organizations and outside partners, learned how to conduct vision screenings for children. Coordinated by the Network and taught by the NM School for the Blind and Visually Impaired, this training increased the number of qualified providers in our community by almost 300%.

Parenting classes for community members using nationally recognized curriculums including Love and Logic, 1,2,3,4 Parents!, and Circle of Security provide techniques to help parents develop positive relationships with their children.

Network members’ staff use reflective practices like reflective supervision and Emotional Intelligence (EI or EQ) in order to consciously create and maintain mutually respectful relationships and make optimal decisions.
