Early Education rally draws 700

SANTA FE (KRQE) - The Invest in Kids Now campaign called on legislators Monday to take money from the state’s Land Grant Permanent Fund to pay for early childhood education.
“The fund is supposed to be for education,” said Allen Sanchez, executive director of the New Mexico Conference of Catholic Bishops. “All we’re asking is let’s use some of this money for the youngest children.”
