First Steps Home Visiting Program

The First Steps Program provides home visiting services to first time families in Taos and Western Colfax Counties. First Steps Home Visitors provide support to all women pregnant for the first time and first time parents including fathers, adoptive parents and foster families. First Steps Home Visitors foster a healthy transition to parenthood for the first three years of the child’s life. Through one-on-one relationships, parents gain knowledge about nutrition, preventative healthcare, preschool readiness and access to community resources.
